Bowling FAQ
Q) How long does it take to Bowl one game?
A) Approximately 10-12 minutes per player on the same lane.
IF: everyone is ready when it's their turn to bowl and;
*You have 3 bowlers on one lane, it will take approx. 30-36 min. to play one game.
*You have 4 bowlers on one lane, it will take approx. 40-48 min. to play one game.
*You have 5 bowlers on one lane, it will take approx. 50-60 min. to play one game.
Q) Can we continue if we run out of time in the middle of a game?
A) Maybe, IF there are no reservations following you on your lane, you may purchase additional time. But sometimes, a group is bowling after you and it'll be time to move on to the next fun thing. Pinball or Air Hockey?
Q) Can I make reservation over the phone?
A) NO, For card security reasons, we do not take reservations over the phone, we take them HERE, on our website! If you prefer to talk to a human, we'll be happy to take your reservation in person! Also, we are not corporate. The front desk attendant at a Bowling alley is often answering phones while guests are shouting shoe sizes at them, or waiting for help, in-person. Please be understanding of our process and why it is.
Q) Do you have bumpers?
A) Yes, they can be put up per your request or, when modifying names on the tablet at your lane.
*Please Note: Bumpers are designed for ages 10 & under and will only be given to those who are so or, have a condition that requires the use of assistive devices such as bumper guards and or Bowling ball ramps, which are for ages 5 & under by the way.
If you're capable, we're gonna make you try, you must earn your score here!
Q) Do I need to wear bowling shoes?
A) Yes, you must wear proper bowling shoes to prevent injury and protect our wood bowling approaches.
Help us keep your shoes clean and you safe by reporting any spills or messes that need to be cleaned up!
Q) Do you have any lighter weight Bowling balls?
- A) Yes, you must throw a Bowling ball that's the right weight for you.
- *It is recommended you use 10% of your body weight as a benchmark for choosing a Bowling ball between 6 - 16 pounds, with a target weight of 14-16 lbs.
*If you have a special condition that prevents you from lifting / rolling over a certain weight, please advise the desk attendant when asking for a lighter weight than recommended.
*Throwing a lighter weight too fast can damage the ball, our equipment, or cause injury and is strictly prohibited!
*The heavier you can throw, the more advantage you have over the pins at the end of the lane (which are approx 40 lbs of combined dead weight).
*Remember Newton's first law of motion: Objects in motion or at rest will remain that way unless acted upon by another force. (Also, Force = Mass X Acceleration)
